About Meri

Hi, Friend!!!! YAY! Glad you’re here! 

 

I am Meri (Meh-dee). I am a wife, boy mom, author, and pastor. My greatest joy is serving Jesus! I love to write and speak about the wonders of His character and His Word! 

 

I love to make new friends, and if you’re okay with it… you are officially on my friend list! Consider me that one true and real friend that will tell you, you got something in your teeth, but all with love! I am pretty sure Jesus did that with His friends, He was the ultimate example of realness and graceful love. 

 

I'm a firm believer in building healthy habits that echo through every aspect of our lives- spiritually, physically, emotionally, and mentally.

Here are fun facts about me (:

 

  • I am a boy mom through and through! I dreamt of being a boy mom since I could ever remember.

 

  • I believe being a mother is the most humbling journey any woman could go through. 

​

  • Mom guilt is real!!!! But I continue to remind myself that His grace is sufficient for me and so I live by mom grace!​

​

  • My emotional support drink is coffee, but I never seem to finish it! I guess I just enjoy the feeling of holding a warm cup of coffee. Oh, and you'll often catch me reheating my coffee about 4 times!

  • Married at 21 to my childhood best friend!

  • Born in Nicaragua, dad is Cuban, grew up in Costa Rica, New York, and Florida … I know it's wild!

 

  • For a long time I wanted to be a wedding planner, but God had other plans and instead blessed my husband and I with a wedding photo and film small business for 8 years. 

 

  • I am a huge advocate for a solid morning and night time routine! I will change your life!

 

  • I believe that the only way your walk with God is going to go to the next level is by reading His Word!
